Our Story

ArtJoy is the creative venture of Fred and Gina, a husband and wife duo with an eclectic approach to jewelry design.

As the sister brand to Alchemista, their established fashion accessories label, ArtJoy embodies their shared vision: "Inspired by Art, Designed for Joy."

ArtJoy's design philosophy is rooted in the belief that art has the power to inspire and uplift, and this ethos guides every piece they create. At ArtJoy, every piece is crafted to bring joy to those who wear it.

Artist Bio

Our designer and co-founder Georgina, a banker-turned-designer, learned metalsmithing and enameling under Australian art jeweler Valerie Aked. She hand paints on metal, carves her own wax molds and collaborates with a small team of skilled smiths to fabricate pieces in metals with found objects and gem stones, using a combination of craft techniques. Due to the use of natural materials and extensive handwork, many pieces are limited-edition or one of a kind.

Georgina believes in combining beauty with practicality — a multi-functional approach that has won two international awards: Best Necklace Design and Best Menswear Design in the Royal Asscher Company of America's Rebel Chique International Design Competition. Her designs have also won the Katha Award at the 2015 Manila FAME show, and placed in the 2010 Guild of Philippine Jewelers' design competition (non-traditional category), Best Product Design finals at the 2012 Manila FAME show and the 2013 Gemological Institute of Thailand's International Design Competition.
